HJEMSTED

A Limited Release by Terrain Signature Properties.

Four homes. One orchard. One hundred years of ground.

Hjemsted occupies land long shaped by orchard rows and coastal winds — now thoughtfully reimagined as four residences rooted in that history. The architecture responds to what remains: land, horizon, and setting.

Each home is oriented to frame protected Puget Sound views while maintaining privacy between neighbors. Interior volumes are defined by height and natural light, structured for openness without sacrificing calm.

Hjemsted is not a subdivision. It is a modern homestead — intentionally limited, architecturally disciplined, and set within one of the Pacific Northwest's most enduring coastal communities.

Blossoming Tree Branches

What once grew here continues to shape how these homes meet the land.

OUR VISION

At Hjemsted, each home is conceived as a response rather than an imposition. Orientation governs form. Light, horizon, and topography establish order long before material choices are made. Views toward Puget Sound are framed with restraint, allowing proportion and space to lead.

Rooted in Scandinavian clarity and Pacific Northwest building tradition, the architecture favors permanence over novelty and discipline over excess. Materials are selected for how they endure. Detailing is deliberate.

In collaboration with Studio Terrain, the landscape restores orchard and native elements, allowing the land’s legacy to inform its next chapter.
